Troyce Viers, 66, of Cheyenne was involved in a one vehicle accident on Friday, July 23, 2010 at 3:15 PM, 5 miles south of Cheyenne on Highway 283. Viers was northbound on 283 when his vehicle departed the roadway to the left for an unknown reason. The vehicle entered the west ditch, struck the embankment becoming airborne for approximately 145 feet, coming to rest in a pond. Viers was transported by Air-Evac to O.U.
